Structural ingenuity allowed the roof to be constructed prior to the enclosing walls, thus expediting construction time during bad weather. The structure is exposed throughout, setting a rhythm, pattern and logic to the plan. A detached guest quarters shares a dramatic view of a backyard pool with the great room.
